The data controller under UK GDPR is SchadeAssistentie B.V. (Netherlands, KvK 92694896), operator of AccidentEurope.

What data, and why

When you request a repair estimate, we process the data you enter: name, phone number, optional email, postcode, what happened, a description of the damage, and whether the car still drives. This data is used to match you with a suitable partner bodyshop (necessary to carry out the request you make of us).

Sharing with the bodyshop

Your request is passed to one partner bodyshop in your area. That bodyshop then processes your data as an independent controller, to contact you and prepare an estimate. That is the entire purpose of the form.

Phone and email contact

We only contact you, or have the bodyshop contact you, if you have ticked the consent box on the form. You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing us.

Processors

We use suppliers for hosting and sending email. They act only on our instructions, and only to the extent needed to provide the service.

Retention

We keep your request for as long as needed to follow up the introduction, and delete it on request, except where we must keep it for a legal obligation.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, email info@schadepartners.nl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
