The AccidentEurope form

Usually within 24 hours

Free and no obligation

Important: here's how AccidentEurope helps you

We pass your repair request, free of charge, to one partner bodyshop in your area so it can send you an estimate. We are not an insurer, an insurance broker or a claims management company: reporting the incident to your own insurer is something you do yourself, and for disputes over fault or personal injury a solicitor is the right person to speak to.

How it works

Three steps to a free estimate

1

Describe the damage

Answer a few short questions about what happened and where the damage is. It takes about 2 minutes, online.

2

We match you with one partner bodyshop

Your request goes to a single partner bodyshop in your area, not a list you have to compare yourself.

3

Receive your free estimate

The bodyshop sends back a repair estimate, usually within 24 hours. There is nothing to pay and nothing to sign at this stage.

The form

A short form, not a long questionnaire

Five short questions: what happened, whether the car still drives, a quick description of the damage, your postcode and how to reach you. Nothing more.

  • ✓About 2 minutes, on your phone or computer
  • ✓Sent to one partner bodyshop, not a list of ten
  • ✓Free estimate, no obligation to book a repair

Your choice

You choose who repairs your car

  • You pick the repairer

Insurers such as Aviva, Admiral, Direct Line or AXA UK may point you to a garage from their own approved network. That's a suggestion, not a requirement: it's your car, so it's your call which bodyshop repairs it.

  • Approved doesn't mean compulsory

An approved garage can be convenient, for example with a courtesy car or billing sorted directly with the insurer. It's one option among others, not the only one.

  • We stay out of your claim

You still report the incident to your own insurer yourself. We simply pass your request to one partner bodyshop so it can quote you.

FAQ

Common questions

Is this really free?+

Yes. Getting matched with a partner bodyshop and receiving a repair estimate is free and comes with no obligation for you. You only decide once you have seen the estimate. It's the bodyshop that pays a fee to receive your request.

Do I have to use my insurer's approved garage?+

No. An approved garage is a suggestion from your insurer, often with an extra like a courtesy car or direct billing. It isn't compulsory, and you're free to choose a different bodyshop, including one of our partners.

Will you handle my insurance claim for me?+

No. We are not an insurer, a broker or a claims management company. We only introduce you to a partner bodyshop for a repair estimate. Reporting the incident to your own insurer, and any claim, stays between you and them.

How fast will I hear back?+

Usually within 24 hours, though this depends on the bodyshop's workload on the day. If your car isn't driveable, say so in the form so the bodyshop can plan accordingly.

What happens after I submit the form?+

Your request is passed to one partner bodyshop in your area, which may call or email you about the repair and the estimate. Nothing else happens with your details unless you've agreed to be contacted.

Do you inspect the bodyshops yourselves?+

No, we don't inspect vehicles or carry out repairs ourselves. We simply introduce you to a partner bodyshop near you; the repair itself is agreed and carried out directly between you and them.

Question 1 of 5

What happened?

Free and no obligation. Your details are only used to match you with a suitable partner bodyshop, see our privacy policy. We are not an insurer or a legal adviser. The bodyshop pays a fee to receive your request; the estimate is free for you.
